Wolfgang Hanulec

Designer / Made DDP Graduate

Wolfgang Hanulec has had a life long love of clothing and has been professionally sewing for over 10 years. Working under master tailor Edgar Perdomo, they are a junior tailor at Henry A. Davidson's. They have a background in costuming film and theater as well as custom clothing making for a number of private clients. Originally from South Jersey they have lived in Philadelphia for over 12 years.

When they're not sewing, they can be found performing comedy and playing electronic music, sometimes at the same time.

Who is this course for?

Anyone looking to learn a new skill! Our courses are designed for beginners as well as experienced designers. You should already have basic sewing skills or take our Sewing 1 course!

What supplies do I have to buy?

You will need a machine at home for homework. We recommend the Singer Heavy Duty 4411.

I haven’t taken class with you, but am I an experienced sewer. Can I start with an advanced class?

Schedule a call with us and we’ll ask you a few questions to confirm your level. We want to ensure you’re taking the class that’s best fit for you!

Will there be homework?

Yes, you will have assignments to work on at home throughout the courses. You can expect to have 1-2 hours of homework each week.

Do I have access to the studio outside of class time?

No, only Studio Members and Designer Development Program students have open studio access. Click to become a Member

What is the Refund Policy?

100% refund will be given if you need to cancel your order up until the original registration deadline. 50% refund will be given if you need to after the original registration deadline has passed, but before the first day of class. 0% refund will be given if you cancel on or after the first day of class.

I started taking classes, but now want to join the program. Is that possible?

Yes, you can join the program! Our Sewing 1 course taken at our Center City location transfers into our program. Schedule a call with admissions to learn more.
