- Research inspiration for a fashion capsule collection
- Organize, collage and display research
- Develop silhouettes and design details
- Physically sample design ideas through material exploration
- Illustrate full outfits on croqui figures in color
- Present the finished portfolio to the group for feedback and discussion

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Mirabelle Kunz
Designer / Parsons graduate
Mirabelle is a designer currently living outside of Philadelphia with a range of interests in fashion, wellness, and branding. She is a Parsons alumni majoring in Integrated Design with a minor in Fashion Studies for her undergraduate degree, and Fashion Management for her master's degree. Mirabelle attended Made prior to college while in high school and gained knowledge around sewing and the fashion industry in general.

Who is this course for?
Teens aged 13 - 18 who are fashion school bound! Check out our Beginner Sewing if you are completely new to sewing.
What supplies do I have to buy?
You will need materials to complete your fashion portfolio.
Where is this course located?

Will there be homework?
No, but we do recommend you practice! You can expect to try out your skills at home for just 1-2 hours each week.
Do I have access to the studio outside of class time?
No, only Studio Members and Designer Development Program students have open studio access.
What is the Refund Policy?
100% refund will be given if you need to cancel your order up until the original registration deadline. 50% refund will be given if you need to after the original registration deadline has passed, but before the first day of class. 0% refund will be given if you cancel on or after the first day of class.
I am not quite 13 years old yet, can I join?
This class is for students aged 13 - 18, but if you aren't 13 yet, you can try out our Sewing Essentials online course or Kids Afterschool Fashion Club.
