Having worked at Oscar de la Renta, Alexandra is one of the most talented pattern makers in the Philadelphia area. She shares her wisdom for digital pattern making with the online courses. She also guides our program students through creating their graduate collections.

Jaclyn Everett

Assistant Designer for Fite Fashion / Jefferson University graduate

Being a Philadelphia native, Jaclyn is invested in seeing the local fashion industry regain the momentum it once had.  Her career focus has been a “slow fashion” approach to luxury women’s clothing; working predominantly at small brands doing everything from Patternmaking to hand-beading. Jaclyn is excited to be able to share her experience and teach people how to do the things she loves most.

Who is this course for?

We've created these online courses for aspiring fashion designers, sewing/design hobbyists, and dabblers looking to gain some new skills. We offer courses for all levels and welcome beginners to our community.

What tools do I need?

We recommend that students have a tablet, laptop, or desktop computer, as well as a smart phone to upload photos of their weekly classwork and homework assignments. You’ll also need your patternmaking supplies listed above and an Adobe illustrator subscription, which are not included in the purchase of this course.

What’s my schedule like?

Each week you’ll be released a new lesson with video demonstrations, activities and homework. Students will then have access to weekly live office hours via Google Hangouts to speak with their instructor for questions and real-time feedback. We do not have live sessions on US holidays. You will be given a calendar upon enrollment to check the available dates and times.

Do I have to join every live session?

No - If you don’t need the help that week, or have a hot date… you can skip it!

 

How long do I have to finish the course?

How will I get feedback on my work?

You can upload your work to our discussion boards for written feedback, or join our live session to chat directly with your instructor, share your screen and get instant feedback on your projects.

What is the Refund Policy?

100% refund will be given if you need to cancel your order up until the original registration deadline. 50% refund will be given if you need to after the original registration deadline has passed, but before the first day of class. 0% refund will be given if you cancel on or after the first day of class.
