"As a lingerie designer, my work celebrates all gender identities and expression in a way that both appreciates and bends traditional ideas of femininity and masculinity while also prioritizing accessibility. Lingerie is for everyone and that is a value I stand by. Everyone deserves to feel great in their body, and that looks different for each person. Sharing my perspectives, as someone who has touched many different parts of the fashion industry through the work I have put in at a variety of different studios including my own brand, has given me a well-rounded approach to how to share my ideas in a way that feels easy to resonate with for all different kinds of audiences. I studied fashion design at Academy of Art University in San Francisco while also learning volumes working at a vintage lingerie shop. At the same time, I immersed myself in commissions for local burlesque and drag performers pulling inspiration from vintage designs that built the foundation for what we still see in lingerie today, and working closely with other trans folks in my community to create an opportunity for more safety and accessibility that has been lacking in the lingerie industry. Being able to offer that to my clients and colleagues is something I take great pride in, and it motivates me to keep pushing back against outdated traditions in the fashion industry."
