Sarah Costa

FiDM Institute of Design & Merchandising

Sarah Rose Costa is a designer, illustrator and bookworm. She is passionate about sustainable fashion, the never ending quest to learn and everything bagel breakfast sandwiches. She is always looking for new ways to flex her creative muscles and loves finding creative ways to use existing materials in her art. She is currently working in Fabric Development at Urban Outfitters as well as teaching her wonderful Made students illustration and photoshop. 

In her spare time, she sketches for friends, family and clients at sarahrosecosta.com. She is a Pisces.

Veronica Miller Jamison

Designer / Illustrator

Veronica is a professional fashion illustrator and print designer currently working at Lilly Pulitzer. Her fantastic demonstrations for the fashion Illustration 1 and Illustration 2 online courses are one of the highlights of our program.   • Spiral bound sketchbook (11"x14" in size)
  • Tracing paper (11"x14" - should be the same size as your sketchbook)
  • Graphite pencils/pencil set (HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B)
  • Kneaded Eraser
  • Prismacolor double-ended markers
  • Prismacolor pencils

These supplies are just suggestions and are not included in the course.

Who is this course for?

Anyone looking to learn a new skill! Our courses are designed for beginners as well as experienced designers. No experience necessary.

What supplies do I have to buy?

You will need a sketchbook, tracing paper, markers, pencils, colored pencils and an eraser.

I haven’t taken class with you, but am I an experienced sketcher. Can I start with an advanced class?

Schedule a call with us and we’ll ask you a few questions to confirm your level. We want to ensure you’re taking the class that’s best fit for you!

Will there be homework?

Yes, you will have assignments to work on at home throughout the courses. You can expect to have 1-2 hours of homework each week. Lesson 1 is released 1 week prior to the first live session so you can review the video demos and do the homework before you join the instructor live for feedback.

Do I have access to the studio?

No, only Studio Members and Designer Development Program students have open studio access. Click to become a Member

What is the Refund Policy?

100% refund will be given if you need to cancel your order up until the original registration deadline. 50% refund will be given if you need to after the original registration deadline has passed, but before the first day of class. 0% refund will be given if you cancel on or after the first day of class.

I started taking classes, but now want to join the program. Is that possible?

Yes, any courses completed with passing grades will be counted as academic and financial credit towards the program and you will not have to retake them.
