Alterations and Fit

Perfect for hobbyists and DIY enthusiasts, this class focuses on easy, approachable techniques that make a big difference in how your clothes fit and feel. Bring your garments and get ready to stitch your way to a better fit!
Projects + activities:
- Taking in the waist of pants – Adjust the fit for a more comfortable and flattering look.
- Shortening hems – Learn how to hem pants, skirts, or dresses for the perfect length.
- Shortening sleeves – Modify sleeve length to better suit your style.
- Taking in a dress or shirt – Reshape garments for a more tailored fit.

- One pair of pants – For learning how to take in the waist and/or shorten the hem.
- One long-sleeve shirt or jacket – To practice shortening sleeves.
- One dress or button-up shirt – For taking in and adjusting overall fit.
